Sports Performance
Although most of my experience training D1 athletes was during my time spent with ASU sport performance, Sara pictured above, ran for MSU. She placed in big ten meets and was on 5 national championship teams. Sarah a D1 cross country and track and field runner reached out to me for comprehensive 5 days per week programing for injury prevention and increasing top end speed.
Health & Wellness
Mrs. Pontious came to me with an interest in introducing resistance training exercises into her already extensive daily cardio routine. We worked predominantly on upper body strength, lower body mobility and balance. We also focused on increasing neuromuscular communication to muscle groups that are often underdeveloped in long distance runners (glutes, hamstrings).
Aesthetics
Most of my non sport performance client come to me with some aesthetic goal in mind (body composition, muscle tone, hypertrophy etc). I have spent years personal training in health clubs and every client i have had, is unique and required individualized programing. Every client has different baselines, imbalances, weakness, and results. Understanding client needs and addressing them efficiently, effectively and safely is one of my favorite parts of program design.
